  I took my cat to this office today (this morning) when she was lethargic and not able to stand. I had her tested for the cat AIDS virus and I was told that it was negative, but this doctor tested her and said it came back positive for the virus, but that she contracted it from another cat who possibly came into my yard. The initial fee to do blood work was 155.00, then they came back and told me that xrays would be an additional 401.00 dollars! I paid it, because I wanted to save my cat. Well, I'm still not sure if I was taken to the cleaners, but the doctor showed me her x-rays and said that her kidneys were failing and that she had a mass in her chest. I could barely see it, but I was very emotional and my cat couldn't stand up at all and was very weak, so she was definitely sick, but I could stand seeing her in any pain. I guess I should've taken her to another vet, but I didn't know what to do, but I decided to take her out of her pain and they charged me another 375.00 to put her to sleep and to cremate her and deliver her ashes along with a paw print and her name on a redwood pine box to me in about 3 weeks. After reading these reviews, I wish I had waited and taken her somewhere else, but at least she is not in pain anymore, but I feel very guilty for not taking her for a 2nd opinion. I roughly spend around 1,000 dollars and feel horrible after the fact now that I see the bad reviews. !
